2008- During the leap year, Fidel Castro resigned from Cuban presidency after 50 years, China launched it's spacecraft Shenzhoun 7, Heath Ledger won an Academy for Best Supporting Actor in The Dark Knight, Barack Obama became the first African American to be elected President of the US, and Yusuf Hussain founded an internet marketing company called Askoli.

...and from then on, the journey to great heights began.

Yusuf Hussain

Yusuf Hussain is CEO at Askoli.

He has international experience in Internet Business Models, Internet Marketing, Offshore Development and Organizational Transformation. He has played technology leadership roles in FORTUNE 500 corporations in the USA including Time Warner and MCI Worldcom. He has headed the apex body in Pakistan for the promotion of the IT industry, PSEB, and served as consultant with the World Bank and United Nations.

An entrepreneur at heart, Askoli is his third start up. Yusuf is a founding Charter Member of TiE Islamabad Chapter; he has been elected Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, awarded a National Leadership Award by the US Republican National Committee, and been designated Good Will Ambassador of the City of Houston.

He has a Master of Engineering degree from the University of Texas, a Master of Arts degree from the American University of London, and a Bachelor of Science degree from Rice University.

Syed Zeeshan Haider Naqvi

Zeeshan is COO at Askoli.

He is a seasoned internet marketing and technology professional who has strategized with top internet startups to design high-impact measurable digital media campaigns. Start-up companies have been Zeeshan’s focus throughout his professional career. The Web 2.0 space is where he is most comfortable and he’s never happier than when there’s an opportunity to discuss trends and opportunities in this ever-evolving industry.

Zeeshan is someone who is passionate about his work. Driven, dedicated and addicted to success - he’ll put in the extra time to get results. He has worked as a Web Architect/ Project Manager for startups like Weblo.com, Dragtotop.com, SocialBuckets.com and Shopit.com.

Rizwan Karim Jamvi

Rizwan is the Business Manager at Askoli.

He has more than seven years of software industry experience including business development, organization development, project management and hands on programming experience. He is not averse to walk the extra mile(s) for Askoli’s clients (especially if it turns out to be less than a mile), making sure that the promises we make are kept.

Rizwan did his MS(CS) with majors in Advance Internet Programming and Software Project Management from one of the top universities in Pakistan.
